Building Legacies, One Plaque at a Time: A Year of Honoring Our Fallen Heroes
Celebrating a Year of Milestones and Gratitude
As 2024 draws to a close, we’re filled with gratitude for the community that surrounds Til Valhalla Project. This year, with your support, we’ve achieved incredible milestones that strengthen our mission to Honor Fallen Heroes and support Veterans fighting the war at home. From surprise-delivering handmade memorial plaques to raising awareness for Veteran suicide, none of this would have been possible without your commitment and dedication.
A Year of Honoring Fallen Heroes
This year alone, your support helped us Honor the legacies of over 860 Fallen Military and First Responders by delivering handcrafted plaques to their families. These heartfelt tributes bring the total number of Heroes honored to over 3,600—tangible reminders that their sacrifices will never be forgotten. If you know a Hero whose family we should Honor, we encourage you to apply for a plaque. You can click the link below to apply.
Additionally, thanks to your support, we’re preparing to donate over $100,000 to Stop Soldier Suicide, bringing our total contributions to nearly $1.5 million. This funding directly supports therapy for Veterans at the highest risk of suicide, giving them a fighting chance to overcome their battles and find hope.
Expanding Our Reach and Mission
In 2024, we expanded the ways you can support our mission. From the launch of new essentials like Veteran-crafted tea and coffee to expanding our annual 9/11 Tribute design into an entire first-ever collection, you helped us Honor Heroes in meaningful and impactful ways. Together, we sold nearly 116,000 9/11 Tribute items and introduced a one-of-a-kind 9/11 Tribute Coin, each uniquely numbered to commemorate the 2,977 lives lost on that tragic day.
Your enthusiasm also helped us grow our retail presence to nearly 70 locations worldwide, including Navy, Coast Guard, and Marine Corps Exchanges. This year, we proudly opened our first brick-and-mortar store at our headquarters in St. Augustine, FL, creating a space for supporters to connect with our mission in person.
Personal Milestones from Korey Shaffer
On a personal note, 2024 was an unforgettable year for our founder, Korey Shaffer. In October, Korey released his first book, Legacy Mindset: Take Charge of Today and Build Extreme Resilience. This four-year journey of writing and self-reflection culminated in a survival guide for anyone feeling lost or stuck. The book is not just Korey’s story—it’s a message of hope and resilience for anyone seeking strength in tough times.
Looking Ahead to 2024
As we step into 2025, we’re energized to keep moving forward with purpose. With new ideas, impactful gear, and more opportunities to Honor our Heroes, we’re ready to make an even greater difference together. Thank you for being part of this journey and for helping us ensure that no Fallen Hero is ever forgotten.
