25 YEARS LATER, WE REMEMBER

My 14-year-old son, Leaven, dreamed of following his mom (a proud Air Force Veteran) into military service. But late-stage kidney failure crushed that dream, making Leaven severely depressed. When he spotted a Keep Moving Forward hoodie at dialysis, I ordered one and asked the team if it would be possible for them to include an encouraging message. Their heartfelt words meant the world to him and brought my son hope during his darkest days.

When we saw Chuck - an animal caretaker badly burned in a fire at a no-kill shelter - wearing a T.V.P. tee while recovering, we were deeply moved. Inspired by his selflessness and resilience, we knew we had to send him a care package to show our gratitude - not just for supporting our mission, but for the incredible example he sets. We’re Honored to be part of Chuck’s journey and thankful for supporters like him who fuel our mission.
