TSgt Donald P. Stachum, 35, U.S. Air Force, born in California July 11, 1973, lost
the battle within on April 5, 2009. Stachum was first a Law Enforcement Specialist
at Mountain Home AFB before going to Korea, where he led an Emergency Service
Team to quell local riots. He then deployed to the Middle East nine times during
the War on Terror. Stachum returned to Mountain Home as an Investigator, where
he made the largest drug bust in the base's history and helped catch one of the
U.S. Marshals 15 most wanted criminals. Fly high, Airman! Til Valhalla, Brother!
