Trooper Shawn W. Snow, 47, U.S. Navy, New York State Police, born in New York
March 19, 1961, passed away in the line of duty on August 3, 2008. After ten years
in the Navy and U.S.C.G., Snow began a 19-year career in law enforcement with
the N.Y.S.P. He served on the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit, reducing
vehicle-related and HAZMAT incidents by enforcing laws and regulations to
increase the safety of all other motorists. For his service, there is a scholarship
program in his name. Rest easy; We have the watch now! Til Valhalla, Brother!
