SPC Adam J. Davis, 19, U.S. Army, born in Idaho July 27, 1987, was killed in action on July 23, 2007. Davis served with 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment (Airborne), 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team and deployed for Operation Enduring Freedom. While conducting a route-clearing mission in Kabul to help ensure our troops safe passage through the area, his Humvee was struck by an IED. Davis and three of his brothers-in-arms did not survive the blast. For his service, he earned a Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. Rest easy, Hero! Til Valhalla, Brother!
