SP5 Robert W. Burrows, 42, U.S. Army, born in Washington D.C. January 26, 1944, passed away from surgical complications on December 18, 1986. Burrows was a Huey Helicopter Mechanic and a Door Gunner with 182nd Aviation Company (Air Mobile Light), 10th Aviation Group in the Vietnam War. There, he ensured his unit's helicopters were always flight-worthy and ready to provide cover fire for American air and ground forces. The only thing Burrows cared about more than his brothers-in-arms were his wife and five children. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla, Brother!
