SP5 Robert A. Cook, 71, U.S. Army, born in West Virginia October 25, 1946, passed away on April 13, 2018. Cook served with the 101st Airborne in the Vietnam War and saw heavy combat numerous times. He then became an Airframe Repairman with 220nd Aviation Company, 223rd Aviation Battalion until he was Honorably discharged. After the war, Cook returned to Vietnam as a contractor with the American military consortium, RMK-BRJ. There, he trained Vietnamese workers on how to rebuild the infrastructure in their war-torn country. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla, Brother!
