SP4 John C. Blaylock Sr., 62, U.S. Army, born November 16, 1948, passed away
from Agent Orange-related health complications on April 20, 2011. Blaylock was a
Light Vehicle Operator with 249th Engineer Battalion in Vietnam. As part of the
Army Corps of Engineers, he helped provide power to remote military units and
bases. Blaylock was very patriotic and a member of several organizations
dedicated to helping fellow veterans. He is remembered for his outgoing nature
and innate ability to turn strangers into friends. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla,
