SP4 Darwin L. Brownlee, 55, U.S. Army, born in Michigan February 15, 1952, passed away from health complications on July 7, 2007. Brownlee was an Armor Reconnaissance Specialist with 17th Cavalry Regiment in Vietnam. There, he scouted terrain features, enemy locations, and their strength in preparation for an engagement. Brownlee was kind, funny, and always knew how to make others feel welcome. He is remembered as a generous man with a heart of gold who would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla, Brother!
