SN Robert G. Walker, 73, U.S. Navy, born in Alabama October 12, 1937, passed
away on March 1, 2011. Walker was a Retail Services Specialist stationed aboard
the USS Paricutin (AE-18) and USS Mount Baker (AE-4). There, he helped run the
ship's store, stock vending machines, and other services to keep morale high by
providing little comforts of home. After the military, Walker became a sought-after
sheet rocker, a licensed minister, and a worked with juveniles at the Jefferson
