In Memory OfSheriff Donald D. Eustice

Sheriff Donald D. Eustice, 47, U.S. Navy, Waseca County Sheriff's Office, born in
Minnesota September 24, 1928, died in the line of duty on September 4, 1976. In
the Navy, Eustice served on the USS Antietam (CV-36) as part of America's post-
WW2 goodwill tour. He then joined the Waseca County S.O. and was elected
Sheriff three times. Eustice was also a member of the local F.D. and started
volunteer Mounted and Snowmobile Posses, which provided perimeter security,
disaster relief, and search & rescue patrols. Rest easy; We have the watch now! Til
