SGT WillSun M.W. Mock, 23, U.S. Army, born December 19, 1982, was killed in action on October 22, 2006. After 9/11, Mock determined it was his duty to pick up arms and defend our country. He served as an Infantryman with 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division and deployed twice to the Middle East in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. While riding in a convoy in Baghdad, Mock was mortally wounded when his Humvee was struck by an IED. For his service, he earned a Purple Heart and two Bronze Stars. Rest easy, Hero!
