SGT & Sergeant Robert B. Swartz, 58, U.S. Army, Oklahoma County Sheriff's
Office (OCSO), born in New Mexico January 15, 1964, died in the line of duty on
August 22, 2022. After 11 years in the Army Reserve, Swartz joined the OCSO.
Throughout his career, he served in the jail, transportation, patrol, and civil &
extradition divisions. Swartz loved his community and its people. In 2020, he
earned a "Lifesaving Award" for administering CPR to a man who had been hit by a
truck until medical help arrived. Rest easy; We have the watch now! Til Valhalla,
