Sgt Douglas C. Stante, 68, U.S.M.C., born in Pennsylvania October 28, 1950,
passed away from cancer on July 1, 2019. Stante was an Aircraft Communications/
Navigation Systems Technician with 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing during Vietnam. He
was stationed at New River, ensuring aircraft comms, radar, navigation, and
countermeasure systems were always functional. Stante was a musically gifted
man of faith. He enjoyed karaoke, playing the banjo and harmonica, and was a
member of several Harley Davidson riding groups. Semper Fi, Marine! Til Valhalla,
