Sgt Charles L. Wilde, 67, U.S.M.C., born in Oklahoma February 23, 1952, passed away on December 1, 2019. Wilde served as a Motor Transport Operator and deployed twice to fight the spread of Communism in Vietnam. There, he helped transport troops, supplies, and equipment, ensuring U.S. forces were always prepared. Wilde came from Pawnee heritage and was very active in the tribe's community. He was the Drum Keeper, drove the truck for the tribal fire department, and president of the Pawnee Indian Veterans Association. Semper Fi, Marine! Til Valhalla, Brother!
