In Memory OfPO1 Victor W. Jeffries

PO1 Victor W. Jeffries, 52, U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, born in New York February 9,
1955, passed away from non-combat injuries on December 30, 2007. After his time
in the U.S.C.G. and the Army, Jeffries joined the Navy as a Mass Communications
Specialist with Navy Expeditionary Logistics Support Group. He deployed for
Operation Iraqi Freedom as part of a Navy Customs Battalion and, in less than
seven months, helped seize over 26,000 contraband items. For his service, he
earned the Bronze Star. Fair winds and following seas, Hero! Til Valhalla, Brother!
