In Memory OfPatrolman John M. Borges

Patrolman John M. Borges, 48, Taunton Police Department, born in Portugal July
31, 1972, passed away from COVID-19 on December 24, 2020. Borges served his
community in a variety of ways during his 20 years on the force. In addition to his
law enforcement duties, he helped found a Search and Rescue team, was the lead
trainer of the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency, and an active
member of the Civil Air Patrol. For his service, he was posthumously awarded the "Supreme Sacrifice Medal of Honor." Rest easy; We have the watch now! Til
