Ofc Robert J. Shisler, 27, Deptford Township P.D., born October 22, 1995, passed
away from injuries sustained in the line of duty on May 7, 2023. Shisler proudly
served as a patrolman for four years. He was known for his bravery, leadership
skills, and the love he had for his community and co-workers. Shisler was the man
officers hoped would show up when they called for backup. Today, peace officers
recognized for outstanding police work in Camden County earn the "Robert
'Bobby' Shisler Award." Rest easy; We have the watch now! Til Valhalla, Brother!
