Detective Sergeant Randy J. Parker Jr., 44, Newport Beach P.D., born December 4,
1976, passed away from health complications on October 25, 2021. Parker wore
many hats while serving his community for over 20 years on the force. Throughout
his impressive career, he served as a Patrolman, Supervisor, Investigator, Field
Training Officer, and was a member of the Narcotics and K-9 units. Parker was a
dedicated, well-respected officer and is remembered for going all in when the job
got tough. Rest easy; We have the watch now! Til Valhalla, Brother!
