CW5 Daniel S. Grant, 59, U.S. Army, born in Kansas September 29, 1962, passed
away from health complications on November 27, 2021. Grand was an OH-58
Helicopter Pilot with 229th Aviation Regiment. Throughout his 33-year career, he
deployed to the Middle East to fight in support of both Gulf Wars and Operation
Enduring Freedom. Grant was also part of a counter-narcotics joint task force in
Columbia with the DEA to combat the flow of drugs into the U.S. For his service,
he earned the Bronze Star and the Legion of Merit. Rest easy, Hero! Til Valhalla,
