Cpl Stephen D. Sargent, 44, U.S.M.C., born February 5, 1947, passed away from Agent Orange-related health complications on April 28, 1991. Sargent served our country as a Machine Gunner during the Vietnam War. He deployed to Vietnam with 3rd Marine Division to fight the spread of Communism in Asia. After the military, Sargent worked as a Methods Engineer and a Metallurgist. He kept himself quite busy as a member the American Society for Metals, the Elks Lodge, and was the conservator for the Belltown Sportsman Club. Semper Fi, Marine! Til Valhalla, Brother!
