CPL Imlay Scott Widdison, 22, U.S. Army, born in Utah February 24, 1946, has been MIA since May 12, 1968. Widdison served as an Infantryman 2nd Battalion, 1st Infantry Regiment, Americal Division in Vietnam. While manning a Special Forces base camp on the Laotian border, when the outpost was overrun by NVA soldiers. Widdison sustained multiple fragmentation wounds and was last seen defending a bunker from hostile forces. For his service, he earned a Purple Heart, the Bronze Star, and was posthumously promoted to Corporal. Rest easy, Hero! Til Valhalla, Brother!
