Suicide Prevention Month

Hey, it's Korey - the founder of Til Valhalla Project.
At T.V.P., we talk a lot about our mission to Honor our Fallen and reduce Veteran suicide. But National Suicide Prevention Month reminds me just how many people - Veterans and civilians alike - tragically lose the battle with their demons each day.
I was nearly one of them. That's why I'm so proud that all of our suicide prevention gear - including our new Keep Writing Your Story Collection - features words I needed to hear when I was at my lowest. If even one person sees something from this Collection and decides their story is worth continuing, it has made a positive impact on the world.
Just as you'll probably never personally meet the families of Fallen Heroes who receive the memorial plaques your support makes possible, you'll likely never know if someone chooses to keep going because they saw the message you're carrying. Just being willing to wear something that breaks down the stigma and starts conversations makes you a mental health advocate and a force for positive change.
Whether you're carrying uplifting words to empower others or because you need them yourself, I want you to know that our mission is better because you're part of it. Thank you for helping us turn the tide in the fight against suicide, thank you for seeing the value in breaking down barriers, and most of all, thank you for being you.
If you are ever struggling and feel like your story isn't worth finishing, call one of the numbers below and talk to someone who wants to help. Consider bookmarking this page of resources if you ever need it, or sending it to someone you know who may be struggling.
Now is the time to start the conversation, because tomorrow may be too late.
Choose to keep writing your story, and always keep moving forward.
