Remember 9/11

Hey, it's Korey - the founder of Til Valhalla Project.

It's hard to believe it's been 24 years since the September 11th attacks. It feels like it all happened yesterday. I can't count how many times the images from that fateful day have replayed in my mind. 9/11 left a scar on our country - and on our hearts - that will never fade.

But as much as I'll never forget the horror of that morning, I'd argue that what we should remember most about that day are the faces and names of the 2,977 innocent victims we lost. The 2,977 stories cut senselessly short. Businesspeople heading into work to provide for their families. Travelers just trying to get home. Courageous First Responders who ran towards the chaos to save lives.

We can't bring them back. But we can ensure their legacies are preserved forever and their stories continue to inspire us for generations. Say their names, keep their spirits alive, and remember forever all we lost that fateful day.

That's how we uphold our promise to never forget.
