In Memory OfTSgt Michael C. Cowan Sr.

TSgt Michael C. Cowan Sr., 51, U.S. Air Force, born October 20, 1972, passed away from cancer on June 24, 2024. Cowan served with 732nd Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron's Detachment 6 in Iraq. There, he conducted transportation, security, and recon missions, and trained Iraqi police forces on how to maintain law and order. After the military, Cowan continued a life of service as a Deputy with the Onslow County Sheriff's Office. He was a righteous and patriotic man with a warrior's heart who was always there when he was needed. Fly high, Airman! Til Valhalla, Brother!
