Trooper Kyle McAcy, 31, Nebraska State Patrol (NSP), born in Nebraska June 25, 1993, died in the line of duty on February 17, 2025. For over 10 years, McAcy served with the NSP in various capacities. He was a Crisis Negotiator, a Firearms Instructor, and a member of the agency's Mobile Field Force Unit. McAcy enjoyed football, learning new things, and was an avid volunteer with the Omaha Children's Hospital. He is remembered as an understanding and selfless public servant who never shied away from a challenge. Rest easy; We have the watch now! Til Valhalla, Brother!
