In Memory OfTec 5 Robert D. Arford

Tec 5 Robert D. Arford, 64, U.S. Army, born September 14, 1920, passed away from health complications on March 4, 1985. In WWII, Arford served as a Message Center Clerk with 141st Armored Signal Company in the European Theater. There, he played a critical role in maintaining and dispatching secure communications during the final stages of the war. Arford enjoyed spending time outdoors, gardening, and fly fishing. He is remembered as a Church-going family man who always had the most beautiful lawn in the neighborhood. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla, Brother!
