TEC4 Lee J. Oldroyd, 68, U.S. Army, born in Utah March 20, 1922, passed away
from health complications on March 19, 1991. In WWII, Oldroyd was a Radio
Repairman with the 326th Field Artillery Battalion, 84th Infantry Division. He was
tasked with ensuring communications between units were always up. Oldroyd was
in several of the war's most important engagements, including the Battle of the
Bulge, where he was severely injured when his vehicle drove over an anti-tank
mine. For his service, he earned a Purple Heart. Rest easy, Hero! Til Valhalla,
