TSgt Christopher R. Schumacher, 35, U.S. Air Force, born July 19, 1988, lost the battle within on December 16, 2023. Schumacher was an Area Supervisor with 55th Security Forces Squadron, 55th Mission Support Group, 55th Wing. He deployed to the Middle East for Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, and Resolute Support, ensuring missions were accomplished successfully through efficiency. Schumacher enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a wizard in the kitchen. He was a loyal friend, a loving husband, and a fantastic father. Fly high, Airman! Til Valhalla, Brother!
