In Memory OfSSgt Paul J. Strobel

SSgt Paul J. Strobel, 84, U.S. Air Force, born September 30, 1940, passed away from health complications on January 11, 2025. Enlisting at 18 to follow his father's footsteps, Strobel served nine years as a missile technician and engineer, seeing 39 countries and serving through the Vietnam War before his honorable discharge in 1967. In 2024, he laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the same tomb his father helped dedicate in 1921. A hunter, photographer, and devoted family man, he is survived by his daughters, Sue and Janet. Fly High, Airman! Til Valhalla, Brother!
