In Memory OfSSgt John A. Nagel

SSgt John A. Nagel, 78, U.S. Air Force, born May 25, 1946, passed away from health complications on December 11, 2024. From 1966 to 1970, Nagel served as a ground radio communications repairman with the 621st Tactical Control Squadron, stationed in Thailand during the Vietnam War, keeping alive the radios and comms gear the air war depended on. He earned his Staff Sergeant stripes, the Vietnam Service Medal, and the Air Force Good Conduct Medal. A quiet, skilled airman, he made his home in Vidor, Texas. He is survived by his loving family and his daughter, Brandi. Fly High, Airman! Til Valhalla, Brother!
