In Memory OfSSgt David L. Mathis

SSgt David L. Mathis, 63, U.S. Air Force, born November 12, 1954, passed away from health complications on January 19, 2018. Mathis was an Aircraft Pneudraulic Systems Technician and was stationed nationwide before landing at Hill Air Force Base. There, he was assigned to 388th Component Repair Squadron and maintained complex hydraulic systems to keep the unit's aircraft flight-worthy. Mathis enjoyed country music, playing drums, and traveling with his wife. He was a true family man who took great pride in having served our country. Fly high, Airman! Til Valhalla, Brother!
