In Memory OfSSG Wilford E. Bishop

SSG Wilford E. Bishop, 60, U.S. Army, MD National Guard (MDANG), born May 19, 1963, lost the battle within on March 11, 2024. Bishop was first in a Military Intelligence unit, serving in Germany near the end of the Cold War. He transitioned to the MDANG, where he spent a decade as an MP with 29th Infantry Division. Bishop enjoyed live music, dancing, and was an Auxiliary Officer with the Sykesville Police Department. He was an outgoing man, a connoisseur of fine whiskey, and one of the biggest Roll Tide fans you’ll ever meet. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla, Brother!
