In Memory OfSSG Virgil R. Case

SSG Virgil R. Case, 37, Idaho Army National Guard, born October 18, 1967, passed away unexpectedly on June 1, 2005. Case served as a Track Vehicle Repairer with 145th Support Battalion, 116th Armored Brigade Combat Team in Iraq. While deployed, his unit conducted vehicle repair and recovery missions to maintain a steady flow of supplies to ground units in Kirkuk. Case enjoyed hunting, fishing, and creating works of art out of wood. He was a man with a big smile and a bigger heart who always made people feel like family. Rest easy, Soldier!
