In Memory OfSSG Matthew R. Bauer

SSG Matthew R. Bauer, 36, NE Army National Guard, born September 1, 1980, lost the battle within on January 5, 2017. Bauer served with the 267th Ordnance Company and the 600th Transportation Company and deployed to Iraq twice. Throughout his tours, he conducted convoy operations across the country, delivering essential supplies to our ground units across the country. Bauer enjoyed the outdoors, running, and getting together with his loved ones at the lake. He was a charismatic and grateful man who never took life for granted. Rest easy, Soldier!
