SSG Karl F. Kuhne Sr., 87, Louisiana Army National Guard, born in Louisiana September 1, 1936, passed away on January 21, 2024. Kuhne served as a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic with 139th Signal Battalion at Jackson Barracks. There, he maintained various tactical
and support vehicles, ensuring they were always ready to deploy. Kuhne was a man of many hobbies. He was an avid collector of Lionel trains, the president of the Horseless Carriage Club of New Orleans, and he loved restoring antique cars to show off at auto shows. Rest easy, Soldier!
