In Memory OfSSG James M. Underwood

SSG James M. Underwood, 36, U.S. Army, born in Alabama June 7, 1987, lost the battle within on September 13, 2023. Underwood began his service as a Cavalry Scout and deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Next, he became an HR Specialist and worked with Armored Cavalry and MP units in the U.S. and Afghanistan. Underwood enjoyed fishing, gaming, Alabama football, and was an avid reader. More than anything, he loved spending time with his wife and six children. For his service, he earned a Purple Heart. Rest easy, Hero! Til Valhalla, Brother!
