SSG Harry R. Marks, 86, U.S. Army Air Corps, born June 24, 1923, passed away on January 26, 2010. In WWII, Marks was a Bombardier with 9th Bomb Squadron, 7th Bombardment Group (Heavy), 10th Air Force in the China-Burma-India Theater. There, he was in charge of lining up the sight of his B-24 Liberator and successfully dropping bombs. For 44 missions, Marks successfully destroyed enemy supply lines, infrastructure, and provided air support for our ground troops. For his service, he earned the Distinguished Flying Cross.
