In Memory OfSSG Gary Spiva Jr.

SSG Gary D. Spiva, Jr., 51, Oklahoma Army National Guard, born October 28, 1972, passed away unexpectedly on August 15, 2024. Spiva gave 27 years to the Guard, rising to lead mechanic for the Oklahoma Army National Guard, and he spoke Korean fluently. His soldiers called him the best most annoying NCO; one of them was hunted down at his own front door and driven to the VA. Gary gave everyone a nickname and never walked past anything broken without fixing it. He is survived by his wife, Daun, and his son, Barrett. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla, Brother!
