In Memory OfSSG Eugene G. Roberts

SSG Eugene G. Roberts, 86, U.S. Army, born in Michigan July 14, 1933, passed away on April 20, 2020. Roberts was an Armorer with Reconnaissance Company, 7th Infantry Division in the Korean War. His unit participated in some of the conflict's most brutal battles, including the Battle of Triangle Hill, where he ensured everyone's weapons were well-maintained and shooting straight. Roberts enjoyed woodworking, hunting, and going to football games. He was genuinely caring "Papa," who was always there for his loved ones to lean on. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla, Brother!
