SSG Dennis W. Biegler, 58, U.S. Army, born in South Dakota March 5, 1943, passed
away on January 15, 2002. After serving in the Air Force in Vietnam as a Fuel
Supply Specialist, Biegler joined the Mobridge P.D. and became Chief of the
department. He then joined the Army as an MP and CIU Investigator in the U.S.
and Belgium. In addition to law enforcement, Biegler was assistant to his county
commissioner, a published artist, and an adjunct professor at Northern State
