In Memory OfSSG Daniel T. Lee

SSG Daniel T. Lee, 28, U.S. Army, born April 4, 1985, was killed in action on January 15, 2014. Lee served as a Special Forces Communications Sergeant with 2nd Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) in Afghanistan. While on a mission to disrupt insurgent operations in Parwan Province, his unit came under attack. When the smoke cleared, the Taliban threat was eliminated, but Lee had fallen on the battlefield after being struck by enemy small-arms fire. For his service, he earned a Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. Rest easy, Hero! Til Valhalla, Brother!
