He joined the National Guard at 17, later serving multiple combat tours in Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan as a 92M. A kind and gentle leader, SSG Blevins was known for his ability to lead from the side, treating his team as equals. His legacy of strength and compassion lives on through his family, who honor his memory daily. He was a devoted husband and father, remembered for his uncanny ability to be both soft and firm.
