SSG Brandon M. Lewis, 35, U.S. Army, born November 26, 1987, lost the battle within on November 9, 2023. He enlisted at 18, serving active duty in Iraq before joining the MI National Guard, deploying to Afghanistan and assisting with the Flint water crisis. A compassionate and sympathetic man, Brandon was a devoted husband to Ashley and father to Mikaela, always ready to help those in need. He enjoyed exploring new places as a laborer and aspired to a career in law enforcement. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla, Brother!
