In Memory OfSSG Adam R. Sanders

SSG Adam R. Sanders, 38, Iowa Army National Guard, born August 27, 1981, lost the battle within on April 24, 2020. Sanders served our country for 20 years with 1st Battalion, 133rd Infantry Regiment, 34th Infantry Division. During the War on Terror, he deployed to the Middle East several times for Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. Sanders was a gentle giant who liked working out, gaming, and watching his Hawkeyes play. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his friends, loved ones, and his dog, Kratos. Rest easy, Soldier!
