SPC & Sgt Damon L. Broussard, 45, U.S. Army, U.S.M.C., born November 19, 1977,
lost the battle with his demons on June 22, 2023. Broussard first served in the
Army and had deployments in Germany and Bosnia. He then joined the Army
National Guard for two years before enlisting in the Corps as a Machine Gunner
with 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division. Broussard deployed
in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom and was medically
discharged after being wounded by an anti-tank mine. Semper Fi, Marine! Til
