SPC Ryan N. Kettell, 23, U.S. Army, born in New York December 23, 1994, lost the
battle with his demons on June 9, 2018. Kettell first served as an MP with 8th MP
Brigade before transferring to 89th MP Brigade stationed at Fort Carson. There, he
enforced all military rules and regulations to maintain order on base. Kettell was a
talented hockey player who enjoyed pulling pranks, singing karaoke, and especially
watching his NJ Devils hit the ice. For his service, he has a street named in his
honor in his hometown. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla, Brother!
