He served during the Vietnam War era as a Power Generator Equipment Operator and Mechanic, traveling wherever needed to maintain critical equipment. Loyd was known for his easy-going nature, always willing to help others, and was deeply loved by his family and community. He enjoyed spending time on his front porch, a testament to a life well-lived and hard-earned rest. A devoted husband and father, he leaves behind a legacy of selfless love and quiet strength.
