SPC Jeremiah J. Flackus-Carlson, 28, U.S. Army, born in Illinois June 1, 1987, passed away unexpectedly on October 11, 2015. Flackus-Carlson was a Radar Repairer and deployed to South Korea. There, he helped maintain the radar equipment that is critical for our bases' target acquisition, weather forecasting, and air defense systems. Flackus-Carlson was a man who lived by the belief that the journey was more important than the destination. He is remembered for his charisma, warm personality, and adventurous spirit.
