SPC Jalen W. Washington, 27, U.S. Army, born September 23, 1997, passed away in the line of duty on March 24, 2025, when a blood clot took his life as he worked at his company. A military policeman stationed at Fort Drum, Washington enlisted in 2023 and married his soulmate, Brittany, three days after he graduated. Facing a medical retirement, he kept showing up and working to the very last day. A man of deep faith and joyful presence, he was a bright light to all who knew him. He is survived by Brittany and his family. Rest easy, Soldier. Til Valhalla, Brother!
